GameChange Solar Secures Largest Single Axis Tracker and Landfill System to Power over 10,000 Homes in New York

NORWALK, CT – March 30, 2022 – Today, GameChange Solar (GCS) announced it will supply its Genius Tracker™ for New York State's largest solar project in Albany County. The total capacity of the system is 50 MWdc. The Genius Tracker™ will support three module manufacturers, all of whom have been approved for SpeedClamp™, a GCS pre-assembled part offering.

Furthermore, GCS was awarded one of the largest landfill projects in Lancaster, New York. GCS's Pour-in-Place™ ballasted system, designed for landfill, brownfield, and superfund sites will be used for the 13 MW project.

Both systems are in for immediate shipment, with deliveries expected later this year. When completed, the systems will power over 10,000 New York homes. This is most comprehensive and ambitious clean energy goal in the state's history which is a significant step forward for New York's Clean Energy Standard (CES) By 2030, renewable energy must account for 70% of New York State's electricity generation.
