International Solar Business Development Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Solar Business Development Manager with Engineering background to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. Assistant Controller

Hardware Engineer

Electronic Technician

GameChange Solar is now hiring a hardworking electronic technician, who thrives in a fast-paced environment! This position is a crucial part of our team and important to the overall success of the process. This position is an essential support to our service center and allow us to provide high levels of service to our sites and professional customers. The electronics technician is responsible for performing a combination of repair, quality assurance, and root cause analysis of an integral product in solar tracking industry.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and analyzing motion control electronic components
  • Repair nodes by components parts such as battery charge controllers, wireless communication components, switches, relays etc...
  • Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) in a manufacturing environment
  • Maintain records of the RCA results using computer software such as Microsoft Excel
  • Help identify the most common electronic failure through visual inspections and software tools
  • Work with engineers and development team to provide input on RCA results

Electrical Solar Design Lead/R&D

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Lead the design in electrical products for rooftop systems and free-standing ground-mounted solar arrays in both low voltage and high voltage systems.
  • Identify project requirements based on the electric utility interconnect agreements, contracts, regulatory requirements, etc. and design components to address the site-specific requirements.
  • Assemble the solar array racking, properly and install all relative equipment, and test assemblies, Set up solar monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Create Bills of Materials for projects.
  • Maintain responsible control over all design activities pertaining to the project, including engineering, quality control, and code compliance.
  • Ensure work is executed accurately and in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. We are looking for creative, intelligent, driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet and can stand up to suppliers. The SQE will play a key role in facilitating the installation of 100’s of MW of Solar Capacity. This is a prime opportunity with the possibility of rapid advancement for an ambitious engineer to expand their technical skills, management skills and solar experience.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Responsible for GCS Quality Plan and Quality Management System
  • Manage the entire Quality program for steel parts, tracker components, and internal processes.
  • Oversee vendor relationship as it relates to manufacturing, process and quality control, corrective action, continuous improvement, control plans, First Article Inspection and part production.
  • Maintain company quality records, report supplier performance and quality to management
  • Responsible for quality issues, RCCA, and client RFI’s.
  • Ensure all material certification requirements are in conformance for metal components
  • Assist Engineering Department with parts design as required.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement Principles to improve business processes and reduce total cost
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to achieve and exceed GCS, customer, and supplier expectations
  • Travel for supplier audit, supplier inspection, test site and construction site visits as required
Requirements:
  • Ability to manage and drive process and product improvements with suppliers
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plan
  • Strong Communication skills: Mastery of written and spoken English required.
  • Experience in Utility / Commercial solar construction strongly preferred
  • College degree in a technical field
  • Familiarity with construction practices and basic measuring tools
  • Experience in a steel fabrication environment, hot roll forming, cold roll forming, stamping, tube mill, aluminum extrusion, galvanizing
  • Experience with plastics and electronic assembly is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of quality management and manufacturing principles
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, teamwork, team development, and critical thinking skills
  • High level of integrity with strong emphasis on making and meeting commitments

Field Service Center Manager

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Center Manager to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance. The candidate must be self-motivated, independent, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Extended travel of 3 weeks on site and 4 days scheduled off will be required. Based in the East Coast preferably.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Manage Lakeland field service center
  • Responsible for inventory management, ordering of inventory and supplies, shipping, receiving, facility maintenance and cleanliness
  • Supervise Florida field service personnel (permanent and contract workers)
  • Work closely with Engineering staff to identify support needs and dispatch personnel in support of commissioning, training, warranty and remediation activities
  • Responsible for overall Cx oversight and management in region
  • Ensure tools, personnel, equipment available timely for executing tasks in service center and in field
  • Monitor inventory to ensure adequate supply
  • Train contract personnel for service center work and field work, monitor progress
  • Escalate technical requests to GCS Engineering team and work with the customer on GCS Engineering team response and recommendations
  • Support and participate in regulatory QA/QC audits and inspections
  • Develop and implement improvements to best-known means and methods
  • Recommend product improvements to GCS Engineering and solicits customer feedback on product and installation
  • Perform data analysis and prepares metrics and reports as requested
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support the release of new products and related projects from an installation, reliability and quality perspective
  • Perform, support and/or coordinate product failure investigation, corrective and preventive action, quality improvement projects, and supplier audits as needed
  • May support the complaint investigation process to ensure timely evaluation and resolution of product quality issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ similar experience, preferably in the solar industry
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, team development, and critical thinking skills
  • High level of integrity with strong emphasis on making and meeting commitments
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to delegate and prioritize to meet required deadlines

  • Manage the entire subsurface testing program for GCS: Pull Testing and Geotechnical Inspections
  • Oversee pull testing:
  • Coordinate with engineers to create pull test procedures
  • Manage pull testing subcontractors including schedule and price
  • Arrange for equipment and testing material delivery to project site
  • Ensure vendors accurately adhere to pull test procedures either through electronic communication or onsite training
  • Create Pull test reports:
  • Oversee Geotechnical Inspections
  • Coordinate with engineers to create geotechnical inspection scopes of work
  • Manage Geotechnical engineer subcontractors
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement Principles to improve business processes and reduce total cost
  • Interface with customers and vendors relating to achieving their expectations
