Office Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting all visitors, offer beverages and directing them to the relevant office/personnel.
  • Carrying out all clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes and presentations.
  • Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings, and the conference room schedule in order to prevent duplicate bookings.
  • Performing bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
  • Maintaining general office files, including job files, vendor files, and other files related to the company’s operations.
  • Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and furniture with manager approval.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities (office, breakroom, restrooms, etc.) and equipment (printer, HVAC, etc.).
  • Keeping office space and breakroom clean, including loading/unloading of dishwasher, maintaining, and organizing breakroom cabinets.
  • General hospitality duties to include offering beverages to guests, ordering food as needed for meetings.
  • Performing other relevant duties when needed, and supplier audits when needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is professional and efficiently performed.
  • Other related special projects and duties as assigned.
  • Dress code must be office business attire. No inappropriate, form-fitting clothing or casual clothing. No sneakers, sandals, open-toe footwear, shorts, or sleeveless tops. All skirts and dresses must be below knee length.
  • OSHA compliance and Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Hard toe boots or shoes must be worn in the warehouse.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be situated in the warehouse. In the on-site setting, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in this work environment may be moderate to very loud.
  • Required to be at the Arizona Training Facility Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Following open and closing procedures as needed.
Required Experience & Skills:

Trade Compliance Manager

GameChange Solar Corporation is seeking a highly qualified individual to manage its international trade compliance team. The individual will be responsible for working with various departments within the Company to ensure compliance with all statutes and regulations enforced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”) and all other relevant Partner Government Agencies (“PGAs”) including the Department of Commerce (“DOC”).

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as internal consultant to provide advice on international trade compliance issues including the following:
  • Classification of the Company’s imports under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (“HTSUS”);
  • Valuation and appraisement of the Company’s imported merchandise;
  • The country of origin of the Company’s imported merchandise for CBP and/or DOC purposes;
  • Eligibility of the Company’s imports for Free Trade Agreements and Special Trade Programs;
  • Antidumping and countervailing duties; and
  • Applicable trade actions such as Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and the like.
  • Maintain the Company’s database of applicable classifications under the HTSUS.
  • Review and respond to all inquiries and communications from CBP and other PGAs.
  • Monitor incoming shipments for international trade compliance issues and assist logistics and/or procurement team as necessary.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments to ensure that the Company remains in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of developing issues in international trade compliance.
  • Liaise with outside counsel on trade compliance issues.
Required Experience & Skills:

Metal Fabricator

We are looking to hire a Metal Fabricator/Installer with experience working in Metallurgy, Physics, Strength of Materials and Fabrication experience. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of technical metal working skills, including but not limited to: Design, MIG welding, bending, tempering, precision cutting/manufacturing, roll forming, die punching, etc. This role provides a creative, design focused process in which the candidate may contribute to the improvement of design strength and longevity while minimizing manufacturing costs. This position will require a candidate who is well organized and highly attentive to detail. The scale of size for racking components ranges greatly, therefore precision is of the utmost importance. The qualified candidate must be able to produce components based off of detailed prints with a high level of accuracy. Additionally, the ideal candidate will review designs and provide technical expertise on manufacturing methods which may contribute to efficiency and reduction of cost.

Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer or internship studying Mechanical Engineering, having or looking for systems/application experience. Knowledge of electrical systems and software/programing is a plus. Applicants from other industries, e.g., automotive, high-rise steel or bridge construction are also a plus. This is a prime opportunity with the advantage of creative, hands-on work which allow the candidate to expand their technical skills while contributing directly to new product development.

In this role, the candidate will work within the research and development team to identify potential issues, develop solutions, and design new methods and systems to reduce materials and labor time for assemblies. The qualified candidate will assist in designing, conducting, and analyzing tests for a wide variety of solar racking products. The candidate will also be responsible for conducting testing on prototype and production samples from vendors in order to verify manufacturing quality and overall unit performance.

Within this role, the candidate will help design components as part of new and existing structural systems based on education and experience in relation to: systems and applications, mechanical loadings, energy fundamentals/thermodynamics and solar technology. The candidate must be able to understand large scale utility solar installations and the fundamental principles behind their design. The candidate must also be able to read prints and make revisions as necessary during the design process. This position will also require the candidate to physically build and test concepts and designs.

Responsibilities:

Solar Field Technician

We are searching for a Solar Field Technician with a significant background in solar installation, framing or construction. The ideal candidate will be well versed in large scale utility solar installations to best support the advancements of the research and development team. This will include assisting in conducting testing on newly designed products, assembly and construction of testing rigs/customized solar racking solutions, and the monitoring of existing long-term testing for accuracy and performance.

Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). We are looking for creative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet. The SQE will play a key role in facilitating the manufacture, delivery, and installation of gigawatts of solar capacity. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting development and maintenance of the GCS Quality Management System
  • Key team member for supporting initial ISO 9001 certification
  • Support the entire Quality program for steel parts, tracker components, and internal processes
  • Work closely with the Production department to collect, review, and record inspection documentation
  • Ensure all material certifications are available and in conformance to product requirements

Safety Manager

We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
  • Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.

Electronics Commodity Manager

GameChange is looking for an individual to bring Supply Chain Engineering through a position for Electronics Commodity Manager. The candidate must have experience working with electronic component distributors, manufacturers and Contract Manufacturers. The candiate’s primary responsibility is to be on top of the electronic components demand with Contract Manufacturers associated with the GameChange Genius Tracker System. Electronics Commodity Manager will be responsible for maintaining production while keeping up with the supply chain demand to ensure on time deliveries for the Node Controller and Master Controller. The individual must be able to communicate and manage multiple procurement operations in parallel while collaborating with our engineering and development team for electronic components alternates.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist remotely both internal & customer O&M teams with tracking issues at a master or site wide issue.
  • Coordinate efforts with CMs to maintain production and appropriately source material based on project forecasts.
  • Work with Electronic Suppliers and Brokers through CMs to supply material for production/forecast demand.
  • Manage PPV (Purchase Price Variance) that GCS accures from electronic components purchased by CMs.
  • Proficient in creating costed BOM’s for financial analysis.
  • Keep organized records of all alternates for electronic components on the Node Controller and Master Controller BOM’s.
  • Work with mechanical suppliers to source top level and PCBA level material for the Node Controller and Master Controller.

Tracker Support Specialist

The Tracker Support Specialist will work to support inquires relating to the Genius Tracker™ System. In this role, you'll build your product knowledge and learn tools to resolve customer issues. You will become an advocate for the GameChange Tracker System and communicate operational and functional details to internal and customer O&M teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist remotely both internal & customer O&M teams with tracking issues at a master or site wide issue.
