Commissioning Technician

We are looking for an experienced Solar PV Commissioning Technician to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance. The candidate must be self-motivated, independent, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Extended travel required. Based in the East Coast preferably.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Responsible for all onsite commissioning activities
  • Responsible to ensure work is professionally and efficiently performed
  • Coordinate with Installer and GCS Training Manager on preparations for commissioning
  • Coordinate with Installers and GCS Training Manager on preferred sequence of work (when to install Master Controllers, where to install Node Controllers first, etc.)
  • Arrange for delivery of commissioning materials, tools and equipment to support efficient and timely commissioning
  • Perform pre commissioning site walk with customer, installer, and GCS Training Manager. Generate pre-commissioning punch list for installer
  • Install temporary Master Controller Solar Charger
  • Work closely with assigned GCS Commissioning Engineer to establish communications between head office and master controllers
  • Initiate pre-commissioning (fuse, scan, plug CP, release eStop) immediately upon Node Installation by Installers
  • Perform required tests and measurements
  • Responsible to properly and professionally complete logs and reports daily (checklists, task lists, remediation, inventory, etc.)
  • Generate weekly commissioning report and submit to GCS Field Team Manager for review
  • Work with O&M team to provide system training as required
  • Removal and return of Cell Modems from Master Controller once site network access established
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support the release of new products and related projects from an installation, reliability and quality perspective
  • Perform, support and/or coordinate product failure investigation, corrective and preventive action, quality improvement projects, and supplier audits as needed
  • May support the complaint investigation process to ensure timely evaluation and resolution of product quality issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in installation or commissioning of utility scale solar trackers
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, team development, and critical thinking skills

Field Operations Training Manager

We are looking for an experienced Field Operations Training Manager to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance. The candidate must be self-motivated, independent, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Extended travel of 3 weeks on site and 4 days scheduled off will be required. Based in the East Coast preferably.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Customer Service:
  • Customer interface for all scheduling, deliveries, and issue resolution
  • Must be a customer service ambassador and able to engage with the client at all levels to immediately resolve any customer problems or complaints
  • Manage relationships and expectations through daily communication to the client
  • Main customer contact from project kick off through site commissioning and handoff
  • Customer Change Order processing and issue resolution

  • Field Technician Support:

Requirements:

Field Service Center Manager

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Center Manager to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance. The candidate must be self-motivated, independent, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Manage Lakeland field service center
  • Responsible for inventory management, ordering of inventory and supplies, shipping, receiving, facility maintenance and cleanliness
  • Supervise Florida field service personnel (permanent and contract workers)
  • Work closely with Engineering staff to identify support needs and dispatch personnel in support of commissioning, training, warranty and remediation activities

Geotechnical Field Testing Coordinator

Logistics Coordinator - Over the Road Flatbed Trucking

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator with minimum 4 years experience in LOGISTICS/DOMESTIC TRANSPORTATION (OVER THE ROAD FLATBED TRUCKING) and responsible for the overall shipping process. You will organize shipments of steel and hardware in order to get 100% of the product delivered on time with zero defects. Must be experienced with flatbed truckloads.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, DOMESTIC (Over the road flatbed) transportation and customer services
  • Plan routes and process shipments to customer’s site, including packing lists and bills of lading

Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced Production manager to undertake all aspects of client orders to join our team. This is an exciting, challenging and fast paced position with bonus upside for highly exceptional performance. The SCADA engineer will work in development to improve our framework for data acquisition and control of our fleet of 100's of MW of solar trackers. They will also coordinate with installers and customers to ensure effective cooperation during install and smooth handoff of controls and data afterwards. Roles and responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to plan for upcoming installs
  • Interface with installers to plan network configuration and adjust our equipment to comply with the plans

Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Specialist will play a critical role in sourcing and procurement of steel, electrical and hardware to support the front lines of our offerings. All of which directly impact the success of our business, and make a difference worldwide by substantially growing the solar industry. You need to be an effective negotiator and have a vast knowledge of manufacturing and materials. This is a challenging but rewarding position with large bonus upside.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pre-qualify suppliers in steel and electronic components who provide competitive pricing, good quality and on time delivery in order to meet our customers demand
  • Analyze vendor quotes from steel and component suppliers to negotiate preferred pricing during the design and development phase
  • Good understanding of business terms and affects of decisions made in this position i.e., how changes in cost, quality etc. affect the bottom line as well as the customer base
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally in both written and oral form
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials or Business
  • 3-5 year’s experience in materials sourcing of steel and electronic components
  • Knowledge of electronic components, assemblies and manufacturers
  • Able to handle multiple assignments with minimal direction
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Basic knowledge of Product Engineering in order to understand bills of materials, engineering documents, reading drawings and new products development
  • CPM / CPIM/ APICS -- Not Required, but preferred
