NORWALK, CT – March 22, 2021 - GameChange Solar is excited to announce its partnership with Texas-based Workrise™ in supporting free, hands-on training for students interested in joining the growing renewable energy industry. Through people and technology, Workrise™ matches its workforce with companies who need them, making it easier to manage and deploy skilled workers at scale.
The free, two-day training course will be offered by Lone Star College with classes taking place both online and in-person. Students will learn the basics of installing utility-scale solar racking and modular equipment as well as earn OSHA 10 certification. As part of the curriculum, students will specifically learn GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker™ system, one of the fastest installing and highest power producing single-axis trackers in the market, affording numerous benefits to owners and installers including reduced labor costs.
