NEW YORK, NEW YORK – January 16, 2020 – GameChange Solar today announced that a 7.9 MW MaxSpan™ Post Driven System was installed in Bermuda. The system withstood 125 MPH wind gusts from Hurricane Humberto, which left much of the island’s other infrastructure severely damaged and 80% of the island without electricity. The system utilized 24,192 high power solar modules and was installed directly next to the ocean. Extra galvanization levels were required due to high corrosiveness.

Teresa Zhao, VP of Sales at GameChange Solar, stated: “GameChange was chosen for the Bermuda system do to our rugged design and quality product. We look forward to more installations in the Islands and globally to help customers meet challenging conditions.”
