Landfill Solar Racking Leader
Building solar projects on landfill sites offers significant environmental, economic, and social benefits. It transforms otherwise unusable land into productive, renewable energy-generating sites, reducing the need for new land development and preserving natural habitats. These projects are cost-efficient, often benefiting from incentives and grants, and generate local employment opportunities.
GameChange Solar is a leader in landfill solar racking with installations at numerous landfill and brownfield sites in multiple states nationwide.
The 12.9 MW GameChange Pour-In-Place™ System is one of the largest landfill projects in the United States. The system was installed quickly onto a challenging landfill with several difficult sloping areas. Stringent requirements were followed during the installation to ensure compliance with all local, state, and other regulations.
12.9 MW
Largest Superfund Landfill Solar System in USA
This 12.9 MW Solar Project was built in record time on a landfill in New Jersey and powers 40,000 homes nearby.
These western Massachusetts landfills require very stringent design guidelines to be followed. The landfill cap was not allowed to be disturbed, and all vegetation had to be left in place for stormwater management reasons. The sites were completed in only two months through difficult fall and winter conditions.
6.5 MW
Three Closed Solid Waste Landfills in Western MA
All three sites were built on top of closed solid waste landfills, creating valuable reuse of otherwise useless land.
